My zephyr came with a melody of yore
He whispered, "Close your eyes and listen..."
I bring you memories of a time before
Of songs you have long forgotten
My zephyr twirled around me
His breeze cooling my raging heart
"Embrace it," he said, "this is your history"
Pieces of you that you can never take apart
My zephry hummed me tunes of sorrow
He reminded me of the bitterness and pain
"Remember you used to cry? Now, let it flow..."
Let it all out, do not refrain
Why, my zephyr, why do this to me?
I am doing fine, I don't need this
Leave me and my broken heart be
Begone, I beg you, please...
My zephyr blew me a kiss
And I caught a scent I had missed
"Because you need to feel again!" he hissed
The hurt will remind you of bliss
My zephyr breathed into my tresses
"Remember, Love, remember of the love you gave..."
Remember the warmth, the touch and caresses
Remember the yearn you hold in your gaze
No, my zephyr, I can't do it anymore
My love is not a gift; it's a curse
I've been ripped to my very core
I've nothing left to give, not my best nor worst
My zephyr wiped the tears off my eyes
"He's out there, the other half of you..."
And I had, just like I do with you, listen to his cries
He has yet to give up, you shouldn't too
And my zephry left swiftly
In the wind, a message he brings
To that man, the other half of me
'Find me, Beloved, I'm still waiting...'
