The things ugly people do...
They write...
Of hopeful beginnings
And dreamy endings
With some tears to fill the story
Wishing for things to turn out alright eventually
The things ugly people do...
They recite...
Heart wrenching poetries
Written from past experiences
A cry of distant memories
The shame of wasted sacrifices
The things ugly people do...
They sing...
About minor bliss
And small mercies
Even little things are important
Nothing will ever be rendered insignificant
Because ugly people put meaning into the seemingly meaningless
Because ugly people know, superficial people can only inflict superficial wounds
Because ugly people reckon, one can get one's face fixed but not one's heart
Because to be able to reconcile with one's ugliness takes guts
'Nobody's perfect,' they say...
But you don't believe that, do you?
